Members Events Including Creativity in the Landscape Series

Thanks to the good work made possible by your past support, the Greater Lovell Land Trust has had a very successful year. To date, we have protected 2,761 acres on 33 separate properties in the towns of Lovell, Stoneham and Stow.  Your 2007 membership helped make this possible, and we are grateful indeed.

However, we cannot rest on our laurels. Join or renew your membership for 2008 today. As a member-supported organization, we cannot move forward without the continuing support of our community. Your membership dues make it possible for us to deliver our high quality programming, and support all of the important work that we do.

This year, we’re hoping to add 75 new members to the more than 300 who joined last year.  Please help us meet our goal by spreading the word, or considering a gift membership for your friends and family in addition to your own.

Premier members (joining at $125 or more) will have two attractive premium choices this year. One is a handsome 5 x 7 journal with the GLLT logo on it. Use it as a guest book, a place to record memorable events, or just as a place to jot down phone messages; the possibilities are endless. Or you may choose to receive A Kid’s Guide To Fly Fishing, a book by child author Tyler Befus, complete with photos and chronicles of his fishing adventures . When you’ve made your choice, jot down “book” or ‘journal” on your membership envelope, and we will send you your premium.

This summer we will be continuing our educational programming and docent-led activities for all ages. Our annual summer meeting will take place on August 9, 2008 at the Lovell VFW Hall, so be sure to save the date!

We also have some exciting programs in the works for members only as further benefit for those renewing their memberships or joining us for the first time. This year, for the first time, we will be offering special workshops based on the theme of Creativity in the Landscape.  We’re also planning other member events, so don’t miss out.  Renew your GLLT membership today! As a member, you’ll receive notification of these events in a timely manner. Members Events Including Creativity in the Landscape Series

We have made great progress in our mission “to protect the ecosystems of the Kezar Lake and adjacent watersheds by promoting an appreciation of natural resources and responsible preservation, conservation, stewardship, development and public policy.” With your help, the GLLT will continue to be the vital, vibrant organization we are today.

Thank you for your generosity and support,
