LOCAL STUDENTS WORKING, LEARNING AND TEACHING
A great opportunity to work in the outdoors caring for recreational and forested lands, as well as teaching and learning in our popular Environmental Education Program, our Summer Internships! The goal of the Summer Internship Program is to promote conservation-minded stewardship of the lands and waters of our region and provide transferable experience for young workers.
The donor-funded program provides our interns the opportunity to develop a connection to the work of the GLLT in land preservation, land stewardship and management, recreational management and environmental education. They spend their days working in the outdoors caring for recreational and forestlands, and helping to present our popular Environmental Education program.
A preference is given to students who have ties to the Towns of Lovell, Stoneham, Stow, or Sweden, Maine and surrounding areas.
