Reptiles and Amphibians of Maine

"When one says "Maine wildlife", images of moose, bear, and bald eagles are likely the first images that come to mind. However, an often overlooked group of animals also calls Maine home - reptiles and amphibians. With more salamander species than the majority of the world, frogs that can survive being frozen solid, snakes that can recycle toxins, and turtles that can trick worms into thinking it's raining, we have a remarkable group of animals that have yet to be properly introduced to most Mainers. Join this program to learn what nobody else knows about the reptiles and amphibians of Maine with PhD candidate and wildlife biologist Greg LeClair."

Registration Required. This is a VIRTUAL PROGRAM~ Participants who register will be emailed a Zoom link 24 hours before the program.
