Introducing the 2025 Trail Challenge!

How It Works

  1. Download and print the Trail Challenge Passport or pick one up at the GLLT office or Hobbs Library.

  2. Hike all 10 trails on the list.

  3. Along the trail, find the insect rubbing plate and etch the track under the appropriate trail on your passport using a pencil or crayon.

  4. Once completed, return the trail passport to the GLLT for your prize (P.O. Box 225, Lovell, Maine 04051).

  5. Open until December 1, 2025

Please note: prizes will not be shipped. Prize must be picked up at the GLLT office in Lovell Village during regular business hours (M-F 8:30 am- 4:30 pm). It is also recommended that you call or email first to be sure someone is at the office.

This year, look for CLEAR, INSECT-THEMED rubbing plates. Trees will be marked with a pink ribbon to help you notice them!
