The 2026 Trail Challenge is underway!
How to Participate
Download and print the Trail Challenge Passport OR pick one up at the office of the participating land trusts.
Hike all 10 trails on the list. There are two trails at each of the five area land trusts:
Greater Lovell Land Trust (GLLT)
Western Foothills Land Trust (WFLT)
Along the trail, find the leaf rubbing plate and etch the track under the appropriate trail on your passport using a pencil or crayon.
Once completed, return the trail passport to the GLLT for your prize (P.O. Box 225, Lovell, Maine 04051).
Challenge open until December 1, 2026
Please note: prizes will not be shipped. Prize must be picked up at the GLLT office in Lovell Village during regular business hours (M-F 8:30 am- 4:30 pm). Prizes are not available for pickup at other area land trusts.
It is also recommended that you call or email first to be sure someone is at the office.
