Forage & Create Wreathmaking Workshop

  • Kezar River Reserve & Hobbs Memorial Library 227 Main St Lovell, ME, 04051 United States (map)

Join us for a hands-on forage and wreath-making workshop!

We’ll begin at Kezar River Reserve with a short walk to gather evergreen boughs and other natural materials while learning about responsible foraging and the plants we encounter along the way. The foraging walk will be very short and take place on flat, even ground.

After gathering our materials, we’ll head to Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library to create seasonal wreaths to take home.

We hope participants can join us for both parts of the program, but we’ll have extra greenery available for anyone unable to participate in the walk. If you are unable to join us for the foraging portion, please let us know ahead of time so we can gather enough additional greenery for everyone.

Wreath-making supplies will be provided. Registration is required, and space is limited.

Registration will open in early November.

This program is co-hosted by GLLT, Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library, and Lovell Rec.
