For millennia people have used the night sky as a compass, a calendar, and a canvas to express their cultural identity.  Stories Behind the Stars combines myths from around the world, science, and imagination to introduce the audience to the night sky. We will tour the night sky, highlighting many of the major early winter constellations. Using our eyes we will meet villains, heroes, and lovers. Bring your curiosity, sense of wonder, and warm clothes. Binoculars optional.

About the Presenter: Matt Krug has been introducing audiences to the night sky for more decades than he would care to admit. When not teaching or performing, he can be found making “To Do” lists at his home in Fryeburg.
